Michael Foguth takes pride in guiding his clients through the demanding retirement planning process with customized plans molded to withstand whatever the future holds. Raised in Mid-Michigan by his parents, Michael and Marie, he was taught that family and faith are the foundation to a successful life. Michael and his wife, Brooke, with the five children they share together, support that belief with their continuous involvement in the community and their faith. Family is what drives Michael to continue his passion of retirement planning. Michael has made it his mission to educate and teach others on what they can do to ensure that their retirement plans turn into reality.
Michael specializes in retirement planning and working with clients pre- and post-retirement who desire to protect their money and ensure it is there when they need it most. Michael and his team at Foguth Financial Group pride themselves on building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with their clients and families. In addition to guiding his own clients, Michael developed Follow The Process Mentorship, a mentorship program that provides training to financial advisors on how to plan a successful retirement for their clients.
Michael graduated from Central Michigan University, and has achieved numerous accomplishments. Michael was nominated for the “Elite 40 Under 40” by L. Brooks Patterson in 2014, and is a member of the Forbes Finance Council. Michael has been quoted in Newsweek, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Yahoo Finance, as well as featured on NBC, ABC, CNBC, CBS, MSNBC, FOX and Fox Business. Through these recognitions, Michael has become one of the premier experts in the retirement planning industry. His first book titled, “Successonomics” was released in September of 2014; Co-Authored by Steve Forbes; “Successonomics” appeared on five different Amazon Best Sellers lists in its first week. Michael has authored two more books: “What You Don’t Know About Retirement Can Hurt You” published in January of 2016, and “Retirement Spotlight” published in February of 2017. The Foguth’s actively support their community, participating with dozens of local and national organizations.
