You may recognize Milana Vayntrub from her portrayal of “Lily” in a long running campaign for AT&T or as “Sloan” from “This Is Us”, but she’s most proud of a documentary entitled "Can't Do Nothing: Refugees in Lesbos," which turned into the #CantDoNothing movement responsible for building schools, medical centers, and providing learning tools in refugee communities.
Milana was called to help refugees because she herself is Jewish refugee from the former Soviet Union. Because her parents grew up in time and place where practicing Judaism was strictly forbidden, Milana found a connection to her faith through the Hillel program at her university and became a Bat Mitzvah at the ripe age of 21.
Up next, you can see Milana as “Squirrel Girl” in Marvel’s live action comedy, NEW WARRIORS.
