Ben Langdon

Ben Langdon promotes the simple act of talking and listening with another person, of working together to explore the worst-case scenarios alongside the best-case scenarios. He seeks to empower individuals to make changes in their own life and, perhaps more importantly, in the lives and world beyond themselves.

He has been working in education and student wellbeing since 2002 with extensive experience teaching high school English from Year 7 through to VCE and VCAL. He is passionate about building empathy as a foundation for preparing young people for acts of heroism, and encourages everyone to walk in another person’s shoes whether it be through his writing, speaking at events, teaching in the classroom and even through face to face, table-top gaming.

The characters in Ben’s novels struggle to overcome unreal expectations placed upon them by family and society and how important it is for them to find out who they truly are, the hero inside. You can find more information on his website, www.benlangdon.net.
