Claire is a musician, songwriter, actor, teacher, and advocate originally from North Dakota and based in Queens, NY. She leads the ghost folk band Youth in a Roman Field, whose third studio album Get Caught Trying comes out November 11 on Better Company Records.
She is the lead singer and violinist of the Brooklyn-based indie rock powerhouse San Fermin and has toured with Delta Rae and Once The Musical, in which she also performed on Broadway. She sits in with a handful of bands in the NYC area, frequently performing with Behaviorist, Hallie Spoor, Haunting Renditions, and Apartment Sessions. She has contributed to many records as an arranger, writer, and composer, including those of Tom West, Allen Tate, and Goldie Haunt. She has composed for film, dance, and theatre, including the score for the acclaimed 2019 off-Broadway production of ‘Accidentally Brave.’
