Matthew Roberts is a sex workers’ rights activist who founded the not-for-profit Sex Work Law Reform Victoria Inc. He believes courage in the face of entrenched prejudice is needed to create any kind of political change. His political lobbying played a key role in bringing about the 2022 decriminalisation of sex work in Victoria, Australia.
