Entrepreneur, author and TEDx speaker Denise W. Barreto is a leading 21st Century voice on leadership. With over 20 years of marketing experience across multiple industries, Denise is the founder and managing partner of Relationships Matter Now, LLC, a strategic business consultant firm based outside Chicago.

Denise and her firm serves businesses of all sizes, non-profit and government agencies who want to better leverage their relationships to grow their bottom line through strategic planning, HR system infrastructure, organizational and leader development and inclusion and diversity strategy. A top rated faculty member at the Forum on Workplace Inclusion and other conferences nationwide, Denise is striving to make government relevant again by positively impacting local policy in government agencies throughout the Midwest and beyond.

In addition to her business, she is committed to serving her community. She was elected twice to Board of Trustees for the Village of Lake in the Hills, IL and is serving an appointment to the Illinois Business Enterprise Program Council by former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn. She was recently appointed to the Evanston Parks and Recreation board by Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl.

Brett Culp

Brett Culp is an acclaimed filmmaker whose work has inspired audiences around the world. He is the personal cinematographer for Hollywood stars, music icons, beloved authors, hall of fame athletes, and royal families. His films are featured on Netflix, iTunes, and Hulu.

With his uplifting documentary film "Legends of the Knight", Brett pioneered a ground-breaking approach to community building and relationship-driven engagement. Without a single dollar spent on marketing or advertising and no paid staff, the feature film successfully screened in theaters in 110 cities across the globe raising nearly $100,000 for charity. 

Brett has been featured in USA Today, Entertainment Tonight, WIRED, The LA Times, The Hollywood Reporter, and many more. The newest edition of the college textbook Documentary Storytelling devotes an entire chapter to Brett’s production style.

He is the co-founder of The Rising Heroes Project, a 501c3 that supports charitable organizations and empowers community leaders.

Nicholas Kristock

Nicholas Kristok

Nicholas is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for service. He has founded multiple non-profit organizations, most recently Fleece & Thank You, an innovative 501(c)3 operating charity that connects the donor directly to their cause through video message technology and delivers comfort and hope in the form of a fleece blanket and personalized video message to children suffering in the hospital. Nicholas has non-profit experience dating back to 2012 when he founded his first non-profit, Gigs For Good, which strove to provide funding for mission trips for high school students. 

Nicholas is a double alumnus of Oakland University, graduating in 2013 with his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and graduating a year later with his Master of Business Administration in 2014. While attending Oakland University, Nicholas was very involved, including playing for the NCAA Div I Men’s Varsity Soccer team. A three-year captain for the team, Nicholas helped lead the program to three conference championships. He also played for the Oakland University Men’s DIII Club Hockey team, and was active in student activities as a leadership consultant. He was a four-year employee in the Disability Support Services Center, helping in the Peer Transition Assistance Program as a mentor for students on the Autism Spectrum. 

Nicholas achieved notoriety from several major university and national awards while at Oakland. He was awarded the 2013 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award for being the #1 graduating senior in all of Men’s NCAA Collegiate Soccer. In 2013, he became the first athlete to win the Human Relations Award from Oakland University, given to the top graduating senior exemplifying leadership, service, and humanitarian efforts on campus and in the local community. He also received the Center for Student Activities “Student Leader of the Year” award for his hard work and dedication to student involvement and engagement. 

Upon graduation from his MBA in 2014, Nicholas signed a professional soccer contract in Brisbane, Australia, where he spent two years playing. He also continued to pursue his passion of non-profits, having a hand in five major non-profits while he lived there. He now lives in Novi, MI and is the Executive Director for the above-mentioned Fleece & Thank You and the Founder of a startup technology company called Empathy313.

Ernest White II

Ernest White II

Ernest White II is a storyteller and explorer. He seeks to bring non-traditional narratives to the mainstream through writing, film, television, and voice overs. His writing includes fiction, literary essay, and travel narrative, having been featured in Time Out London, USA Today, Ebony, and at TravelChannel.com. Ernest is the creator of multicultural travel portal Fly Brother, a contributing writer at literary travel journal Panorama, a former assistant editor at Time Out São Paulo, and founding editor of digital men’s magazine Abernathy. Appearing on the Travel Channel television series Destination Showdown and Jamaica: Bared, as well as in the 2013 documentary film about the dangers of mass tourism, Gringo Trails, Ernest is currently producing a travel series for television. A Florida native, Ernest can be found most frequently in some major international airport. His obsessions include Indian curry, São Paulo, and Rita Hayworth.
